Thin, absorbent and effective foam pad.
Mepilex Lite is a thin, highly adaptable foam dressing that absorbs exudate and maintains a moist wound environment. It has a Safetac layer sealing around the edges of the wound, preventing exudates from escaping to the surrounding skin, minimizing the risk of maceration. The Safetac layer ensures atraumatic dressing changes. Mepilex Lite can be cut to suit the shape and location of the wound.
Effective wound contact layer.
Mepitel may remain applied for up to 14 days, depending on the condition of the wound, which reduces the need to change the primary dressing frequently. The porous structure of Mepitel allows the exudate to pass into an outer absorbent dressing. The Safetac layer does not let the outer dressing stick to the wound and ensures atraumatic dressing changes. The Safetac layer seals around the edges of the wound, preventing the exudate from escaping into the surrounding skin, minimizing the risk of maceration.
