Dressing characteristics

• Soft, highly adaptable foam dressing that absorbs exudate and maintains a moist wound environment;
• The Safetac layer seals the edges of the wound, preventing the exudate from escaping onto the surrounding skin, minimizing the risk of maceration;
• Ensures dressing change without causing injury to the wound or surrounding skin, or subjecting the patient to additional pain;
• Minimizes pain and trauma from dressing changes;
• Remains in place, leaving hands free to facilitate the application of compression or retention bandages;
• Used under compression bandages;
• Can be cut to suit various wound shapes and difficult dressing application sites;
• Promotes patient comfort during use;
• May remain in place for several days, depending on the condition of the wound;
• Can be lifted and adjusted without losing its adherent properties;
• Low potential for skin irritation and allergy.
