Wellion Luna - glucose test strips
Wellion LUNA Test Strips, intended for glucose measurement, are presented as a high technology product. The strips are manufactured in distinct layers.
In the reaction zone of the test strip is a biological substrate, glucose oxidase, using a high precision dispenser. Glucose oxidase is an enzyme that reacts with blood glucose. During the reaction, a quantity of current is produced which is converted into the glucose result shown on the display with the blood sugar value. The Wellion LUNA are equipped with technology without code, avoiding the error and ensuring safety in reading. The product has a practical size that allows the user to easily remove the strip from the bottle and insert it into the test strip port of the meter without difficulty. At the tip where the blood is aspirated to the reaction zone, with the help of SIP-in-technology, it is located far enough away from the meter in order to avoid contamination of the meter with blood.
