VICRYL RAPID Coated Suture is an absorbable surgical suture, synthetic and sterile, composed of a copolymer obtained from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. Although VICRYL Rapid Suture is an absorbable synthetic suture thread, its performance characteristics have been planned in the image and similarity of collagen (Catgut) sutures.

- VICRYL RAPID Coated Suture is only indicated for use in approximating superficial soft tissue of the skin and mucosa when only short-term wound support (7-10 days) is needed.
