The non-absorbable optilene suture thread is produced from polypropylene and polyethylene.
It is a unique product and the sutures are dyed blue with copper phthalocyanine in order to obtain better visibility of the thread.
They can be monofilaments or multifilaments, absorbable or non-absorbable, coated or not according to the necessary period of the permanence of the wire, and also by the resistance and elasticity that the intervention imposes.
These threads are sold in several lengths and diameters and are assembled in surgical needles of different shapes and sizes.
Each package has 36 units.
Indications
The product is indicated for soft tissue union or binding when surgical practice requires the use of material.
