Monosyn is a synthetic absorbable monofilament suture with high tensile strength. It is indicated for tissues with a medium-term of healing by ensuring coaptation of the sutured edges during the entire critical phase of the postoperative. They can be monofilament or multifilament, absorbable or non-absorbable, coated or not according to the necessary period of the permanence of the thread, and also by the resistance and elasticity that the intervention imposes. They are sold in different lengths and diameters and assembled in surgical needles of various sizes and shapes.
