Virgin silk is a non-absorbable, multi-filament, twisted, natural silk filament suture thread. The product is available in several versions, blue, with needles. It is sold in boxes with 12 wallets each.

Virgin silk is indicated in ophthalmic surgery for Moles tissues. Silkam® is indicated generically in procedures in which it is a surgical practice to apply non-absorbable suture material.
