Mepilex Border consists of an all-in-one absorbent foam dressing, which effectively absorbs and retains the fluid (exudate) from the wound while keeping it sufficiently moist. Safetac® unique patented adhesives ensure that the dressing can be changed without damaging the wound or the skin to its wheel, making the dressing change process as painless as possible. In addition, it allows the surrounding skin to remain dry and healthy.
Areas of use
Mepilex Border is a versatile dressing that can be used on many different types of exudative wounds. Wounds typically treated with Mepilex sit on pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, and surgical wounds.
