Lyostypt® is a local hemostatic agent in the form of a felt. The product is characterized by being absorbable and made of natural collagen. Its felt structure consists of an abundant collagen surface, which is intended to provide optimal support for platelet adhesion and promote coagulation. Collagen induces platelet aggregation and activates coagulation factor XII. As such, collagen is very effective in hemostasis.
