Cervex Brush® Cervical brush is designed for the collection of cells from the endo and exocoli, for liquid cytology but also suitable for conventional cytology. It has soft bristles of different lengths to collect cells, without bleeding and longer central bristles to collect cells from the endocolus.
The Cervex cervical examination brush is made of polyethylene and has a total length of 20 cm. The upper part uses a soft and flexible brush to obtain cell samples. The brush consists of 57 semi-circular plastic fingers of different lengths. The shape is such that the upper edges of the brush follow the contours of the cervix. The longer fingers reach deeply into the endocervical canal. The shorter fingers touch the ectocervical area and the transformation zone at the same time.
