Glucoject Dual Accessory
The comfort zone technology makes the capillary puncture much less painful. Damage or injury to the skin causes the receptors to transmit pain signals to the brain through the spinal cord. Through the particular Comfort Zone Technology (CZT), Glucoject Dual S uses eight raised points to apply pressure on the nerve fibers in the finger and send a message of comfort to the brain, dissimulating the message of pain. According to the "gate theory", the tactile stimulus of the brain is transmitted by the large nerve fibers that obstruct the passage of pain stimulus, transmitted, in turn, by the smaller nerve fibers. In this way, the Glucoject Dual S , thanks to 8 salient points, allows reducing the sensation of pain when the lancet penetrates the skin to collect the capillary blood sample. Thanks to the CZT, Glucoject Dual S increases the comfort masking the perception making the capillary puncture much less painful.
