Composition

100ml of solution contains: - Sodium chloride (9,00g) - Water for injection - q.b.p. (1000ml) - Electrolytes (mmol/l - Na+ (154) - Cl- (154)

Therapeutic indications

• For irrigation or washing during surgical interventions.
• For irrigation of wounds and burns.
• For moistening wounds and tissues.
• For clearance and washing of bladder catheters.
• For irrigation and washing of stomata.
• For washing instruments and equipment.
• For irrigation in the intra and post operative (endoscopic interventions without high frequency current, after RTU).
• For filling of air humidifiers (it is recommended the use of presentations with volume equal or superior to 100ml).
• For ocular washing (30ml presentation is recommended).

Warnings and precautions

• Do not use in intravenous infusion.
• Reject the solution if it is cloudy or with sediment or if the container is not intact.
• After opening the container, the solution should be used immediately. Reject any residual volume of solution.
• The reuse of single-use devices creates a potential risk for the patient or user.
• It may lead to contamination and/or insufficient functional capacity.
• Contamination and/or limitation of the device's functionality could lead to injury, illness or death of the patient.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• When there is a risk of absorbing larger amounts of the solution, as may be the case when using in large body cavities or extensive wounds, it should not be used in patients in a state of hyperhydration. In such conditions, it should be used with caution in patients with hypertonic dehydration, hypokalemia, hypernatremia, hyperchloremia, disorders in which restriction of sodium absorption is indicated, for example, heart failure, generalized edema, pulmonary edema, hypertension, eclampsia or severe renal failure.
• It should not be used in intratecal irrigation procedures.
