Indications
Braunol is indicated for:
- Antisepsis of intact skin, mucous membranes and wounds.
- Antisepsis of the hands, in bladder catheterization.
- It can be used in concentrated or diluted form for irrigation and antiseptic washing and wound treatment.
Composition
- 7.5 g iodopovidone (10% free iodine) per 100g solution.
- Laboratory tested under simulated practical conditions (DGHM / VAH methods).

- Braunol is a non-prescription medicine.

Precautions
Braunol should not be used in case of:
- Proven allergy (hypersensitivity) to iodine or any other component of the product.
- Thyroid disease, recent or acute, influenced by iodine.
- Goiter or autonomous functional adenoma (mainly in elderly patients).
- Before and after iodine radiotherapy (until complete remission).
- Suffering from dermatitis herpetiformis.
Conservation
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- Do not store above 25ºC.
- Do not use BRAUNOL after the expiry date printed on the label.
- Medicines should not be disposed of in the plumbing or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicines you no longer need. These measures will help to protect the environment.
