BD Vacutainer® PPT Plasma Preparation Tube (16x100mm / 8,5ml)

The plasma tube consists of a closed system that allows the separation and storage of undiluted EDTA plasma in the primary blood collection tube. The product is sterile and evacuated, contains an inert gel and a spray-dried K2EDTA anticoagulant in order to obtain separation from the plasma. It undergoes centrifugation, the gel migrates and forms a physical barrier between the plasma and most cellular elements.
