The adhesive dressing has the capacity to absorb the exudate, in a controlled way, favoring the maintenance of a moist environment in the lesion that favors, consecutively, the healing process. It consists of a barrier to fluids and a bacterial barrier, preventing the entry of microorganisms and preventing the infectious processes in the lesions. It is characterized by being breathable, allowing gas exchange. The product has sealed edges, with the purpose of promoting the adaptation of the dressing in the applied area, avoiding detachments. The hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive allows an adequate adhesion to the perilesional skin, without causing trauma on the removal. The dressing is easy to apply due to the carrier films that facilitate its placement. It allows the patient to perform normal daily activities and hygiene, without the need to change the dressing. In addition, it contributes to the reduction of pressure.
