Varihesive Hydrogel hydrocolloid is a sterile, gel-like product composed of natural hydrocolloids (pectin and carboxymethyl cellulose sodium) in a transparent and viscous aqueous excipient. It is indicated for the treatment of medium or total depth wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers and diabetic ulcers. The gel creates a moist healing environment that favors the healing process by aiding autolytic debridement and allowing non-traumatic removal of the secondary dressing without causing damage to newly formed tissue. Each box contains 10 units and each unit has 15 grams.
