Littmann's Master Cardiology stethoscope is ergonomically designed with a stainless steel headset and a tuneable diaphragm, allowing the professional to switch between low and high frequency without having to turn and reposition the headset. It has a double lumen tube, a single tube with two sound tracks, the aim of which is to eliminate the friction noise created by traditional double tubes, in order to provide the professional with more quality in the exercise of listening. The patented olives 3M™ Littmann® offer an excellent acoustics allowing the isolation of undesirable noises and adapting comfortably. The anatomically shaped binaural earpiece is easy to fit and ensures a perfect fit, minimizing air outlets. It also prevents the binaural from losing its elasticity. The cross opening gives the professional perfect control of the tension in the ears. For the patient to feel more comfortable during the auscultation exercise, it is possible to use an anti-creep rubber.

Cleaning and maintenance

It is important to clean this tool to keep its characteristics durable. Therefore, it should be considered:

• Disinfect the stethoscope with a cloth moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Do not immerse the stethoscope in liquids and do not sterilize.
• Do not expose the stethoscope to extreme heat and cold conditions and avoid contact with solvents and oils.
• Remove the olives when cleaning the stethoscope.
