The Electronic Model 3200 stethoscope allows the professional to hear critical sounds with 3M's ™ Littmann® reduction technology, which eliminates on average 85% of background noise. Since it amplifies sounds 24 times more than the sound level of a cardiologist, there is a greater energy supply when the heartbeat of a lung, heart or other part of the body is especially weak or when clothing restricts the hearing experience. The stethoscope can record the auscultation exercise, and the professional can share it with the patient, compare it or store it 30 seconds or more and file it electronically. In addition, it is possible to listen carefully to sounds at a normal or slow speed, view them as a phonocardiogram and even analyse them by attaching them to medical files or review them online by transmitting the sounds using Bluetooth® technology. The stethoscope is extremely comfortable in the sense of being light. It has a high-quality sensor and is easy to handle, supporting the demands of everyday life with a robust design. The olives offer excellent acoustics to isolate unwanted noise and adapt in a comfortable way.
This instrument can be used as a diagnostic tool, as part of the physical evaluation of the cardiac patient, both in adults and children.
