The Classic III Stethoscope offers a high acoustic sensitivity to achieve the best results in general clinical evaluations. Its new design has improved its cleaning and maintenance. Both sides of the hood have a tuneable diaphragm and, for greater versatility, the Classic III stethoscope can be used in both adult and paediatric patients. The tuneable diaphragm technology allows professionals to hear sounds of various frequencies simply by adjusting the pressure on the headset. With gentle pressure on the headset, it is possible to hear low-frequency sounds, with a little more pressure, high-frequency sounds. The binaural headphones adjust to the professional's head by squeezing or pulling the tubes apart and have a higher resistance to skin and alcohol fatty acids, thus offering a longer life cycle to the instrument. They do not contain natural rubber latex and are free of phthalate-based plasticisers. Olives prevent noise from interfering with hearing, and they sit optimally in the ear. The tubes retain their shape and flexibility even after folding and placing in the pocket, giving the stethoscope a longer life. The long duration is also due to the higher resistance to skin oils and alcohol, having a lower probability of being stained. They do not contain natural rubber latex or phthalate-based plasticizers. The stethoscope is supplied with large and small, soft-sealing olives, a hood-shaped anti-cold membrane ring and instructions.
